The Brilliant function of pain
Pain can be a useful warning sign to stop what you’re doing and take care of your health. Pain is also one way that our bodies communicate with us, telling them about an issue in the form of sharp discomfort- which could mean anything from hunger pangs all over again (I know I feel like eating) down right to bone aches! But sometimes these alarms are false; they don’t actually indicate any serious problem at hand such as inflammation related to diabetes for example–but even so, there still might need medical attention if it’s been going on too long without addressing.
The student asked Swami Satchidananda if there was anything that could be done for his mother who had arthritis and couldn’t do yoga poses. He replied by telling him about alternate nostril breathing, which helps to divert prana from where it hurts so you don’t feel any pain in those areas.
When I heard about the advice from my professor, Sri Gurudev to use a visualization technique for healing arthritis pain in my hands with just one look at him practice it now! So after speaking on phone we both agreed that this is what needs to be done before it’s too late.
Our student had been struggling since he was diagnosed four years ago but recently got worse when an injury made moving difficult and painting jobs were no longer possible – mostly due because his fingers couldn’t bend anymore which led us here today Without delay.
When I first heard about this technique, it was the most amazing thing in my life. It turns out anyone can do what seemed like magic to me- there are no limits.
